Veeam Backup & Replication is a Data Protection Protection and Disaster Recovery Data Recovery solution for VMware vSphere and Hyper-V virtual environments of any size and level of complexity.
In this article, the supported environments will be checked by this software.
The following virtual infrastructure support is divided into three sections: Platform, Hypervisor, and Management Server.
Virtual machines that use SCSI bus sharing are not supported. This is because VMware can not get this kind of Snapshot virtual machine.
RDM virtual disks configured as Physical Mode, Independent drives, and discs that are connected by the in-guest iSCSI Initiator with a virtual machine. These types of drives are automatically deleted from the Veeam Backup & Replication process. Network shares are not processed by Veeam. Because their information is not recorded in the VM Configuration File.
All operating systems are supported by Veeam Backup & Replication.
The latest version of Veeam Backup & Replication is fully compatible with vCloud Director 5 to 8.10.

As outlined in the screenshot, support for ReFS file system recovery is only activated when Veeam Backup & Replication is installed on Windows 2012.
Even though Veeam supports both Dynamic and Basic drives, it does not back up the Volume that is split, Spanned, or Stripped on dynamic drives.
