Upload an ISO File to Vmware vSphere Datastore Using Web

Datastore is the main part of VMware vSphere ESXi. Datastore is the storage of all the virtual infrastructure. When we create the VM we required the guest os ISO to install the guest operating system in the VM
you can upload the any ISO image to your datastore and use it for VM.

I this post, I will teach you how to upload any ISO to your datastore.

 

Login to VSphere ESXi 6.5 Web Client


After logging into your ESXi host with IP address. Click on Storage to view all Datastore.

 

after login vSphere ESXi and then over in the right-hand pane, you will see Datastore browser.  Click the Datastore browser button.

This will open a new window for the Datastore browser. Create a New Directory ISO-VMGate.com. where do you need to update all ISO Files.

Type ESXi Directory Folder name

 

Successfully Created Folder, now upload all ISO file in this folder.

After creating a directory, click the upload button to select the Guest Operating System ISO files.
