Removing Roles and Features in Windows Server 2012

In Windows Server 2012 R2, If for any reasons you will need to uninstall server Roles and Features.

First, launch Server Manager from the Start menu.

it is a simple process. From the Server Manager’s Dashboard click on Manage then select Remove Roles and Features. From the Remove Roles and Features dialog, simply select the packages you would like to remove and proceed through the removal wizard.

 

Here Remove Roles and Features Wizard page click on Next to Jump.

 

Select destination server page select a server from the server pool, click on Next to Jump.

 

In the Remove server roles page click on Hyper-V to unchecked it, click Next button.

 

 

click on Remove Features button

 

If you remove any feature, In the Remove server Feature page click on .Net Framework 4.5 Features to unchecked it.

 

click on Remove Features button

 

 

Details of selected roles and Feature, which you need to remove, Click on Remove to Remove

 

 

Removing the Roles and Features

 

Roles and Feature removed, a restart is pending on Server. You must restart the destination server to finish removing features. Click on Close to continue
