Installing Zerto Virtual Replication

The first step of installing Zerto is the Zerto Virtual Manager (ZVM) which plugs into your vCenter or SCVMM server to give you redundant HTML5 management interfaces for each datacenter. You need 1 per vCenter/SCVMM and the ZVM should be installed in a Windows VM with 2vCPU, 4GB of RAM, a static IP and around 100GB of disk space. Run Setup file to start installation Zerto

Click the Accept and Install to Start installation Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5

 

Installing the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 automatic

 

Successfully install .NET Framework

After installation framework required to reboot the system and continue the installation of Zerto. Click OK Button to reboot your system.

 

After restart system automatic start Zerto Virtual Replication

 

Click next

 

Read end user license Agreement and Accept the License Agreement, click Next button to start next.

 

Select the location where do you need to install the Zerto Virtual Replication, Then Click on the Next button.

 

if you need to install standard edition choose the Express edition. Click Next Button

 

we install with custom installation. Next

Windows Service user

Select the users who will run the Windows Zerto Virtual Manager Service. the default is Local System Account. Click Next.

Database type

if you need to configure the Microsoft SQL Server or Express Edition to click the Connect to an External. 

default click Next 

 

vCenter Server Connectivity

Enter connection settings that will be used by the Zerto Virtual to communication with the site vCenter Server

IP/ Hote Name: 192.168.1.106 (Type vCenter Server IP)
Username : Type here vCenter Server id
Password : Type here vCenter Server Password

Click Next to jump up

if you need to connect vCloud Director (vCD) then enable it. Next

Zerto Virtual Replication Site Details

Enter details to identify the Zerto Virtual Manager site in vCenter Server. The details can be changed after the installation

Site LOcation  :    VM Virtualization

Zerto Virtual Manager Communication

Zerto Virtual Manager (ZVM) communication with other ZVMs to manager replication between sites.

Enter the connection settings to be used by ZVM to communication with ZVMs on other sites.

Warning: if the protected site recovers to a site maintained by a cloud service provider. do not change the TCP port value.

IP Host Name Used by the Zerto User Interface : 192.168.1.106
HTTP port ZVM (Zerto Virtual Manager)             :  9080
HTTPs port (clients <-> ZVM)                                :  9669
TCP Port  (ZVM <-> ZVM)                                       : 9081
TCP Port  (ZVM <-> VBA)                                        : 9180

Then Next

Online Services and Zerto Mobile Application. Next

Validation of ZVM communication and vCenter credentials plus Register vCenter plug-in

Next press 

Install

Zerto Virtual Replication components are being installed and configured.

This may take a few minutes, Wait

 

Installation complete. Click to DONE.

 

After Installation go to Url login Zerto Virtual Manger Web Client.

 

After login verify the Zerto Virtual Manger License.

 

Successflly installed the Zerto Virtaul Replication
