  1. Enter the DNS manager .
  2. First we need to enable and install Reverse Lookup Zone .
  3. If AD and DNS are installed on the root server, select the Primary zone option and tick the Store the zone in active directory   option.
  4. Select All DNS servers running o Domain controllers in this domain .
  5. Specify the type of IP class in the Network IP section. for example :

    1. 192.168.1 (Class C)
    2. 172.16 (Class B)
    3. 10 (Class A)
  6. Select Allow only secure dynamic updates (recommended for Active Directory)

  • One for Domain
  • One for FQDN server
  • To do this, just right-click on the forward section and select NEW ALIAS (CNAME) .

  • Right-click on the forward section again and create alias. This time we will consider the Alias ​​name at www.server-name (the server name associated with www) and from the FQDN part we will attach it to the A record of the FQDN server.
